New pan disability discipline procedures:

This season, we are deciding to crack down on certain behaviours. As much as we want you guys to have fun, we have to ensure this is a safe environment for you all!  Some behaviours we are looking to crack down on are:

- Being aggressive toward another player/team/parent/carer
- Vandalising, or trying to vandalise, team/club property
- Putting yours or someone else's life in danger, for example, throwing certain equipment
- Bullying, regardless of this is a joke or not, if this is not seen as a joke by me or Dyfan, we will advise you on your next steps
- Disrespecting other players equipment and possessions.
- This list is of course not exhaustive, and you may be pulled up for different reasons.

The steps we are putting in place are below:

Chance 1: Reflection Box for however long we feel you need to calm down. We will re-evaluate how you are feeling whilst you are in the reflection box every few minutes. This is for your safety, as well as others. Please do not see the Reflection Box as a negative thing. This is to give you time to reflect upon your behaviour and to calm down. You will only be in the bin for as long as it takes you to visibally calm down.

If you have been to the Reflection Box and your behaviour continues to cause a problem or violate the code of conduct, then you will be asked to leave immediately, in which we expect you to do so. This will possibly follow with a weeks suspension and will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

If you refuse to leave when asked, then there is a chance the police will be called to escort you off of the premises. Again, this is for your safety, as well as other players.

If your behaviour then begins to persist, then you may be suspended again, with an extra week added on each time.

If you can go 6 weeks without being in the Reflection Box following your suspension, and happen to be suspended again, you will be suspended for one week and  if your behaviour then begins to persist, then you may be suspended again, with an extra week added on each time.

Introduction : Let me take this opportunity to introduce you to the Sholing FC Pan-Disability Team.  We have been a part of Sholing FC since 2016.  We are a team of skillful adults with disabilities ranging from Autism to Cerebral Palsy, looking to expand to include a youth team (under 12s and under 16s).  The teams currently compete in a local 5-a-side League with other pan-disability teams from around Hampshire and the Isle Of Wight.

The Sholing FC Pan-Disability Section is guided by a partnership of a volunteer coach, a volunteer secretary and officials from Sholing Football Club.  Our goal is to provide a fun and professional environment for our players, as well as competing in even more tournaments and possibly frequent 11-a-side games around the country. We train at the Universal Stadium (Sholing's home ground) on Sunday mornings.  If you are interested in joining us, please get in touch!

Mike Field (Saints Disabled Supporters' Association treasurer) presenting Adam Moore (coach) and Dyfan Rowlands (assistant coach) with a sponsorship cheque for £650 for training kit which will carry the s.d.s.a logo. Many thanks to them for their wonderful donation.  Also pictured below is the squad in their new kit, kindly sponsored by the Football Lodge.
