An understrength Sholing slipped to our heaviest defeat of the season, which leaves us 7 points behind the last play-off position and pretty much out of contention for promotion barring a miracle.

Team News: Stuart Green, Robin Nicholls, Marvin McLean, Jack Mann & Tomasz Gruzewski were unavailable. Injuries to Jake Cope & Byron Mason meant there was call ups for Dean Frampton & Liam Dummett & a full starting debut for Lochlan Colquhoun

The match almost got off to the perfect start in the opening minute as Dan Mason muscled his way past the Parkway defence, but Kyle Moore had to be at his best to deny the Boatman striker. William Palfrey forces Ryan Gosney on 7 minutes to save his long-range effort from the resulting corner Parkway have the ball in the net but after consultation between referee & his assistant the goal is ruled out for a foul in the build-up.

On 33 mins Callum Hall cut inside from the right and as Sholing backed off him, he scored into the top corner from outside the area. Boatmen were only behind for 4 minutes a corner found the head of Dan Miller who directed the ball goal wards & OWEN ROUNDELL at the far post headed in.

As the game approached half time Ryan Cluett conceded a free kick on the touchline the freekick was whipped in & it appeared to elude everyone, but Jack Crago rose above everyone to glance his header past Gosney. HT: 2-1

The match was going end to end Michael Williams has his effort headed away for a corner. Once again Ryan Gosney denied the Parkway attack saving down by his near post. Callum Hall got in to the Sholing area with Owen Roundell adjudged to have fouled him for a soft penalty award. William Palfrey put the spot kick past Ryan Gosney.

Jack Crago was again denied by Ryan Gosney making a great one handed save to put the ball over the bar. Gos again had to be at his best to deny Ethan Mitchell.  In the 90+5-minute Callum Hall cut into the box and hit a low shot past Ryan Gosney.  FT: 4-1
