Sunday 9th September 2018 : Hampshire County Youth Div 1 : Christchurch 0-1 Sholing

Sholing U18's got their season with a new look team, off to a winning start. With only 6 players from last season available (most have moved up to the development squad) this season's U18 has a youthful look about it.  Some experienced heads remain, but we now have several players that are 16 or under, with 4 players from the U15's making their debut. Sholing played some decent football, creating plenty of chances, but failed to take them. Lewis Floyd marshalled the defence well to keep a clean sheet and defensively as a unit we were superb, switching from four at the back to three during the game. Offensively, in spells we played great, but the chances failed to be converted. The goal and winner was from Brad Johnson who hit a superb shot into the bottom corner to win it.

Line Up: Lewis Floyd, Alex Beckett, Seb Szymula ©, Joe Smith, Joe Carroll, Brad Johnson, Callum Braden, Jamie Cassell, Ollie Shapland, Owen Roles, Jack Nicholas.  Subs: Jordan Evans, Alex Tonks, Billy Houghton, Alfie Prendegast, Henry Abraham
